Dancing Queen

I remember when a certain little girl we all know and love wouldn't do a little leap over her teachers purse in ballet class.

Well, this same little girl is grown up now and 

dancing up a storm with her Lindy group.

Lee and I got to go watch her perform a couple weeks ago at BYU.

It was so much fun to see her having so much fun!

I can't tell you how happy this makes me!  :)

Something New

I tried something new at school tonight and I'm kind of excited about it.  

My assignment was to come up with a cover for my portfolio.   My original design had a good layout but it was too cartoony
 (a lot of my designs tend to be on the cutesy side).

 I decided to try my hand at
typography art.  

I know it's a little basic but I'm happy with it for a first try.  

Here's what I came up with...

I can't wait to try some more!

I can't believe this kid is turning eighteen today...
