After 19 years of marriage, I have come to the conclusion that I will never understand my husband. Lee earned an all expense trip for two to Cancun at work.

You'd think I'd be jumping for joy and shouting praises.

HE GAVE IT AWAY!!!!

Yes, you read it right...He gave our trip away to another agent in his office because, how did he put it? Oh yeah, "My wife wasn't too crazy about the idea of leaving the country."

Huh?

I've been talking about it since he told me last September! I've been asking exactly when it is because we needed to get passports, babysitters, etc. I've been talking about how nice it'll be to get away for a few days. But yeah, I wasn't crazy about the idea!

Tell the truth Lee...YOU didn't want to go!

Here's my thinking...this year in September we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary. On Valentine's Day it will be the 20th anniversary of our first date. Cancun was supposed to be in February. I thought it could be kind of a celebration of these 20 years. But he gave it away.

He better have something special to make up for this!!!

I'm thinking, since I had to sell my half-carat diamond engagement ring about 12 years ago because we were so broke and almost homeless,

I think a new ring would do the trick!
