I've been feeling down again.
I hate this feeling!
Today, I talked to a very good friend of mine from California. We've been friends since we were probably 7 years old. I can always count on her to make me smile.
I was telling her that I sometimes envy her because she is single and has no kids and can do anything she wants whenever she wants.
She responded by pretty much telling me how ungrateful I am for what I have.
(I really didn't mean that I don't appreciate my family--because I DO. I just wish I could do something I wanted to once in a while.)
I know what you're thinking...I am not whining!
Well, we just kind of laughed because the grass always seems greener on the other side.
Then she said,
"You know, Cari, the grass is only greener because of the manure!"
How true! Thanks Soni!

Manure. Oooh. I hope you are feeling better. I know it's hard sometimes to look at the bright side. Things can only get better is what I say. Hopefully that is the same for you, everything just gets better.
