I usually like it when the kids are out of school.
I might even go as far to say that I love it.
It's usually so relaxing and fun.
But, after last weeks Spring Break,
I think I need a vacation!
It's beginning to be really hard entertaining three sets of kids in various age groups with various interests.
Although, quite frankly, I don't think I need to be the one to entertain my teenagers.
I'm just saying.
Anyway, the plan for this Spring Break was to have the older boys golf everyday while I did things with Emma and Max since I can still manage to find things they like to do together.
Well, stupid Mother Nature had other plans and the boys only got to golf on Monday due to the weather.
(I still can't believe it SNOWED!)
It was too windy the other days.
So, without going into a lot of detail,
our Spring Break basically sucked.
Seriously, if I had to hear
"I want to watch my show!"
or "Can we do..."
or "Can I have..."
or "Why can't I..."
or "There's nothing to do!"
or "I never get to do anything fun!"
one more time,
I probably would have ended up here:

Oh, I hope this wasn't a preview of what Summer will be like!
Please excuse me now.
I have to go grocery shopping since my 4 growing boys ate me out of house and home last week.
I may need to get a job just to feed them!
Can boys survive on bread alone?
Just wondering.

I do think boys can survive on bread alone. You should try it and see what happens. They might crave a little meat after a while. I think this summer is going to awesome! After the winter we've had, we deserve it.
Naw, in the summer they'll be outside, not corraled in the house.
Er, at least I hope they will. For your sake ;>
It was beautiful weather down in St. George, but I won't tell you that...
I think your kids would do just fine ron bread alone...heaven knows that I would've eaten that 3 meals a day if my mom would have just let me. Also, wasn't there a group that survived on manna in the wilderness?
My poor kids were deprived all spring break, too. I tried to come up with something fun to do everyday, but other than going to the library a couple times & the dollar theater once I made them help with Spring Cleaning. (They said they were bored, so I was just giving them something to do.)
I am SO looking forward to summer, though!
you know you and lee need to go to Hawaii. Take the G.W.Bush rebate and go! Go now!
I think they might. Quin lives on chips alone. He won't eat anything I make.
