Well, we blew it.
As I was driving Elisabeth to work today,
I drove by "our" new house as I always do.
Today I noticed something that made my heart fell to my stomach...
no realtor sign
NO!!!
I drove by on my way home hoping I was mistaken but the realtor's sign was gone.
I called Lee and he got a hold of the realtor and sure enough,
our house had been sold.
This house has been on the market for 2 years.
No one was serious about buying it the last time we talked to the realtor a week ago.
Lee had gone out of town for work and we were going to talk some more with the realtor this week but now it's too late.
I am sad.
This house was perfect for us.
I know that things happen for a reason so I guess I should look at it as "it's not meant to be" but it's still sad.
There are other houses (tons on the market right now) but none like this one.
It truly was one-of-a-kind.
So, it's back to house hunting for us.
You snooze--you lose!
Lesson learned.

On a MUCH happier note...
Congratulations to Cortney and Aaron!
They had a new baby son today.
I can't wait to meet adorable little Luke!

Cari, I am so sorry! I hate that type of let down. Not to worry you have many options! Something better will come along. Good luck!
This has happenend to us before and it makes you SICK. So Sick, and not in the good way.
Oh sad! I feel like I get attached to houses easily and then we have to leave or we don't get to live in them at all. It's no fun!
oh my goodness, this makes me so sad for you. seriously. it's hard to get over stuff like that. but that just means there is an even better house out there for you. i can't wait for you to find it. so sorry!
This only means that you get to stay in the ward longer, and...... something will come along that is WAY better!
I'm very sorry to hear that! When we were looking for a house, I thought we found the "perfect" one too, but someone else's offer was better. So I know the sick feeling! But, looking back now, I'm so glad we have the house we do now instead! I must say I'm not sorry to see you leaving so soon! We love your family!
