A Night of Fun (or Insanity...)

Since Lee, Scott, and Cole have abandoned us on yet another week-long scouting adventure this week, I tried to do at least a few fun things with Emma and Max. We are fortunate to live close to family so we got to spend time with most of the cousins their ages over the past couple of days. We've had picnics, gone to new parks, tubed down a freezing cold stream, gone to the movies, and last night, we had a sleep over with Ross, Kate, Zach, Liberty, and Sam.

Fun Times!

We made our initials into pizza.

And took a trip to the "Hidden" park (that what my kids call Paul Reams Wilderness Park) and got eaten alive by mosquitos (sorry!).

We got rid of the old bread and the ducks didn't seem to mind.

Emma even fed the ducks!
She must be getting older because she didn't freak out--YAY!

Then we came home and got ready for bed and stuffed our faces with cookies, chips, and junk and watched some movies.

It wouldn't have been a sleep over without a pillow fight, right?

Emma was the first one asleep and Zach was the last when he nodded off around 1:00 a.m.
So it was another late night!

I'm glad everyone had fun and that
I'm still relatively sane.
I guess that's a good thing.
