Well, our swamp cooler died.
Since this has been a relatively cool summer, for the most part, it hasn't been that bad.
But this last week has been
unbearable!
Our upstairs is like an oven so the other night
here's what downstairs looked like...

We moved the mattresses downstairs and we all slept downstairs with the fan and the windows open.
Thankfully it's cooled off the past few nights!
We have a friend that's an AC guy that said he'd come by this week sometime and fix it for us.
Hallelujah!

i'm so sorry, theres nothing worse than trying to get some sleep in a hot house--hopefully it will get fixed!
Cari our swamp cooler works, and it's still sweltering hot. I can't imagine. Hang in there. You're welcome to come hang over here for a bit and cool off maybe a few degrees... :)

Of course, you could always use this as an object lesson about the afterlife and tell your kids that this is what Hades is going to be like...only worse.
Yuck it seriously is so hot there. That looks like fun though. I bet everyone liked it.
Our swamp cooler is running 24/7 and my kids are still only wanting to sleep in their underwear...I can't image either. Hang in there!
