One of our favorite things about living in Provo is the Provo River Parkway (aka the Trail).
We've enjoyed many family outings walking and riding our bikes on the trail.
When the kids were little, we would often walk down the trail to Paul Reams Wilderness Park or as my kids called it, The Hidden Park because it's tucked behind some trees and you have to cross the river to get to it off the trail. That's one of the cool things about the trail. Many of Provo's parks are located along the trail.
Unfortunately, there's been some terrible crimes that have taken place on the trail over the past few years.
Lee has been working with Provo's mayor and the police chief over that last few weeks and has organized a volunteer bike patrol on the Provo River Parkway (the PRP).

This is a great way for volunteers and the police to work together to help keep the PRP safe.
The other day, Lee got a call from the Provo Daily Herald and did a phone interview.
The article is in today's paper.
Pretty darn cool!
You can read it here.
Way to go Lee!
