Okay.
I know I'm fat.
Yes, I'll admit that I have let myself go.
Well, I was at the University of Utah today on a tour of the school with Jake and Lee.
(It's one of the school's Jake's considering.
Take it easy BYU fans.
BYU doesn't offer his major.)
Anyway...
I was walking out of the restroom and there was a small group of college kids.
(I am old enough to call them kids.)
One of the boys says,
"See, I told you not everyone here is gay. Look at her!"
and pointed to me.
I'm thinking,
"Whatever."
Then a girl says,
"Yeah, pregnant women freak me out!"
Nice.
Thanks ignorant college kids.
I guess I'd rather have people think I'm pregnant than just fat!
Maybe I should take this as a wake up call.
Maybe.

2 weeks ago, on a day I was feeling pretty good about my post-pregnancy figure, I ran into a former ward member who said, "When is your baby due?" I could have died. Instead, I just said, "Almost 3 months ago." She felt terrible. (So did I, but just a little).
Some people need to learn when to keep their mouths shut.
The way I see it, you've earned the right not to be a skinny minny. Our bodies show the physical sacrifice we've made to have children. As long as you are making the effort to be healthy, that's what matters. Dumb college kids. I think you're doing fine. :o)
Is it crazy getting another kid ready to go to college? I'm dying that my oldest is going to 1st grade!
i can't believe people even say things like that--any of that! wouldn't it be nice to see a little fast forward into their lives and see how they fare six kids later!
Please. I just went to Vegas. You would be one of the skinny ones.
ignorant!! ughh, some people have zero tact! don't worry, a guy i used to work with asked me if i was pregnant too. i didn't even know how to respond because he asked me right to my face! oh that's fun stuff! don't even worry about it -- it's not even worth your time to think about it!
