Happy Birthday
to my smart,
funny,
ridiculously good looking boy
who came into this world with a permanent smile on his face!
Cole has brought so much joy into our lives!
He surprised us by coming three weeks early and continues to surprise us to this day.
Did you know he was learning to play the banjo?
He learned the guitar pretty much on his own and now he's tackling the banjo.
He's taken on a crazy difficult schedule of classes this year while still impressing everyone by shooting in the 70's in golf tournaments. He just informed me today that he was going to be the mascot (the bulldog) for PHS. He's also involved in HOSA and is organizing a 5K run for a fundraiser.

The kid never ceases to amaze me!
It's hard to believe he's already 16, a junior in high school, and dating!
(Yep, he turns 16 today and has his first date tomorrow.)
It seems like yesterday he was that little blonde kid that stood in my bedroom doorway spanking himself, laughing and saying,
"Well, spank my aching bottom!"
Time sure flies.
Cole, you're a good boy and I'm so happy I get to me your mom!

I still remember the day he was born---that's what people say when they're old, so I'm officially old!
