Thanks for making us smile, Cole!

Our ten-year-old son is a born commedian -- truly gifted in this area!
Sunday evenings are our family's time to catch up with each other. We just lay around talking. We can always count on Cole to do or say something so funny
that causes us to almost wet our pants or cry.
Last night it was his impression of this lady that came to our door passing flyers out. She was heavy set and was wearing tight leather pants. Cole and his friend were outside playing football at the time and he recalls,
"We heard this weird squeaking sound so we stopped playing. I looked up and saw her. We just stood there shocked and amazed, listening."
Then he imitates her walking in "the pants". There were all sorts of squeaking noises and the walk was hillarious! Then he imitates her bending over with the loudest, weirdest squeaking noise you can imagine. We were dying! I know it's not funny that he was making fun of someone else, but if you're going to wear tight leather pants when you really shouldn't, (and in July!) you probably should expect to be teased!
The picture above is Cole dressed as Colonel Sanders. This past school year, his class did a Wax Museum where the kids had to choose an American Hero, write a report, prepare an oral report, and a costume. The parents came and you push a button by their desk and they "come alive" and act as if they are their hero. Cole chose Colonel Sanders. You may ask, "Colonel Sanders? An American Hero?" Believe me, I did, but his teacher approved it nonetheless. So he was the Colonel--southern accent and all! (He practiced the accent constantly for a week straight!)
We once went to the Outback Steakhouse and he was talking with his Austrailian accent. His goal was to convince the waitress he was our cousin from Austrailia!
These are only a couple of recent incidents with Cole. I could go on for pages and pages but...
We are just so thankful for Cole! He's brought so much joy into our lives!
One thing I am glad about is that he usually remembers that there is a time and a place for his antics. He's not a class clown or anything and so that makes me feel better. He's just plain funny and we just love him to death!
Thanks Cole!!!
