Today was SEP conferences at the elementary school. To be honest with you, I usually hate going to these. I don't know why--I just hate going to them. This time, however, I was anxious to talk to Cole and Max's teachers because we have been working hard on improving this term.
I am happy to say that they are both progressing in school as they should and we had glowing reports on their behavior and efforts.
Yeah Cole and Max!
This year the kids have excellent teachers. . .
Mr. Z and Mrs. H
They have been working so hard with them to help them achieve their goals.
(Mr. Z actually just got recognized for being such a great teacher. We've always known it but it's great to see that others are noticing also! Click on his name to read all about it.)
Actually, with the exception of about three teachers, all of my children have had excellent teachers through the many years they've been in school.
So, today, I am thankful for the
wonderful teachers
who teach and help prepare my children for their futures.

Good call, I hope all of those teachers read your blog. They could use the appreciation I'm sure!
My fifth/sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Pope recieved the same award! It's so fun to hear them get recognition because they sure don't get enough!
I wish Mr. Z was my 6th grade teacher. It would have been pretty awsome. I have a feeling I will be the only Houghton who didn't have him as a teacher.
