Month of Thanks -- Year Four

Wow!  Is it just me or is time just flying by?
 It's November 1st today -- already.
I'm excited for this time of year.
 I love it!

It's the time of year that I try and focus more on the things I am grateful for.  I've been sharing what I am thankful for each day until Thanksgiving for four years now.
(I've been blogging for four years?  Kinda crazy!)

This year, although it has been a tough year, has been full of huge testimony-building experiences.
My heart is full.

I'd like to start this Month of Thanks by saying how
 thankful I am for prayer.
I am so thankful that I have the knowledge that I can talk to my Heavenly Father
anytime and anywhere.
What a comfort this is!
This year, my family, my extended family, some of my friends, my country have all gone through really tough challenges.  It's been a comfort to know that I can go to my Heavenly Father in prayer to ask for His help, guidance, and comfort.
I know He hears me.
I know this because I have seen miracles happen in answers to my prayers.
I don't believe that things happen just by coincidence.
My husband, who was out of work at the beginning of this year, received a call for an interview from a company that he didn't even apply for and ended up getting that job.
How can that be coincidence?
My year was filled with instances like this where I could see the hand of the Lord in my life.

I know He hears and listens to me.
I also know that He does answer all of our prayers.
The answers do come.  Maybe not when we expect them but
  they do come.

So, today, I am thankful for prayer and
for a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers my prayers.
