Where We've "Bean"

Yesterday was
Children's Corner
(or Play Group if you're asking Emma)
It's one of the Enrichment groups in our ward.
We meet twice a month and do fun things with our children.
We went to the Monte L. Bean Museum at BYU yesterday.
Emma had to be reassured over and over again that the animals aren't alive and they won't get her.  (I'm sure the zoo will be great fun with her!)
The kids had a good time.
It's always fun to get together.

Oh Max!  This picture cracks me up!

I know there was some controversy over this rhino,
but it sure was cool to see a real rhino up close like that!

This is Emma with her friend "Soapie".
Sophie is a darling girl!  We sure will miss her and her family when they move next month!

The museum has a little scavenger hunt for the kids.
Here's Emma laying on the ground coloring one of the animals she found.
(It must have been one of the few she wasn't petrified of.  She's not freaking out!)

Emma's favorite, the peacocks.  She also liked the butterflies.
What a girlie girl!

At one point, all the kids were running full speed around the top floor of the museum.  We were the only one's there, luckily.  I wouldn't normally allow this, but they were having
 so much fun!

Then to top it all off...
ice cream at the Creamery!
Yummmmmm!

This post really takes me back. My parents used to take us to the Bean museum whenever we made the trip to Provo and we loved it. And no trip to Utah was complete without a stop at the Creamery!!
