We met at Cricket and Craig's house for the annual
Peterson Family Christmas Party.
I'm sad I don't have any pictures. They got lost when my computer crashed.
Along with the video of Max playing Silent Night on the Ukelele and Emma playing Joy to the World on the piano. (If anyone else has it, please share!)
I did still have this video on my camera.
All my kids decided to combine for their rendition of "Go Tell it on the Mountain" featuring Cole on the guitar, Elisabeth on the tambourine, Scott on the Cajon drum, and solos by Cole, Jake, and Elisabeth.
After the party, we headed home for our family traditions.
Emma and Max decorated sugar cookies...
We cleaned up and watched a Christmas movie and had hot chocolate.
Lee made us a DELICIOUS prime rib dinner (that we eat close to midnight) complete with garlic mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, green beans, glazed carrots and homemade rolls (ok, I made the rolls)...
Lee getting it in the oven. It was huge this year!

He gets so excited at this point!

The kids were pretty excited too! Emma and Max fell asleep so we saved them some for Christmas Day.

Check out this slab of meat! It was soooo good!
|
After we stuff ourselves, we head to bed so Santa can come.
Yeah, another great Christmas Eve!

The video is private so I couldn't watch your kids in action. But I must say that huge slab of prime rib had me drooling!!
