Amelia Earhart Elementary was featured in a Desert News article yesterday.
It talked about improvements made in school lunches.
I have to say that Amelia Earhart has an excellent cafeteria.
It's totally not like the cafeteria food I remember where catsup was considered a vegetable!
Our kids are offered a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables every day.
It's awesome!
For example, tomorrow's menu includes the following:
Chef Regis' Rosemary Chicken
rice pilaf
Nantucket vegetables
grapes
whole wheat roll
oatmeal raisin cookie
Not too shabby huh?
Well, Emma (from the back) and her name were in the paper.
She was pretty excited when she found out.
