Half a Household

I was beginning to think it wouldn't happen!
All the "where's my flashlight" and "I thought my DI blanket was in the garage" are now over--at least till the next scout campout!
Getting three scouters ready for a campout is exhausting! They "pack themselves", so they think, but all I hear is "where's my this" and "I thought you washed my that!"
It totally drives me crazy!!!
But, now we have half a household. Lee, Jake, and Scott took off on a week-long, 50-mile hike through the Escalante Grand Staircase National Park. So they'll basically be hiking through the miserably hot southern Utah desert for a week. Not my idea of fun, but they were sure excited! Things were sure a lot more quiet around here today! You'd think that the younger children would be the one's making all the noise and commotion in the house but apparently it's the opposite! Things are a little more quiet and a whole lot more strange. I don't like when half my family up and leaves! I just hope and pray that they are safe and are having fun.
