"Me Read You Now!"

Our swamp cooler is broken (oh the joy!) so we've all been camping out downstairs in the family room. This morning I woke up to Lee reading Emma a book about dogs. It was the sweetest thing ever! There on Lee's lap, little Emma listening so intently to his every word. I pretended to stay asleep and quietly listened and watched (with one eye open!). Lee had been so busy lately that moments like this are truly priceless!
When Lee finished, Emma excitedly blurted out,
"Me read you now!"
and she grabbed the book and started to "read" the book to Lee (every other word was "dog").
It was so adorable!
It was one of those moments that I want to remember always.

Later tonight, after Emma's bath, Scott read her a book called "I Love You So Much." He often does this without anyone asking.
(What a good brother!)
It's also one of those priceless moments I always want to remember.

Then, just as this morning, I hear Emma say,
"Me read you now!"
(with every other word being "lof ewe!")
Precious!!!
